New problems begin to torment Wanycz (Andrzej Seweryn), Zarzycki (Dawid Ogrodnik) and Mika (Łukasz Simlat). The former will try to find out what his old friend wanted to tell him about; the second – to deal with tragedies in his private life and the disappearance of his daughter (Wanda Marzec), in which Jass, struggling with her own demons, will help him (Magdalena Różczka). Fortunately, she will be able to count on her friend’s help – she will once again join forces with Mika, who will try to solve the last criminal case of his career before retiring.
Just like in the second installment of the series – “Rojst ’97” – the action will take place on two time planes. This time – in the 1960s and 1990s, which will allow viewers to learn about the fate of the young Manager (Filip Pławiak) and his path to the top. New characters will also appear in the “past”, and jumping between the past and the present will allow you to better understand the motivations of, among others, Wanycza.

Finishing watching the final episode “Rojst: Millennium” I can’t get over how coherent this story is. Jan Holoubek and Kasper Bajon not only close most of the threads and provide answers to the viewers’ questions (especially in the bittersweet ending of Wanycz’s story, in which we will see a very interesting guest performance), but they expand the world of “Rojst”, draw and expand the stories of the characters, they build even more complicated and intriguing relationships between them and fill gaps in specific threads.
IN “Rojst: Millennium” the mysterious figure of the Hotel Centrum Manager comes to the fore (in the 1960s he was played by the above-mentioned Filip Pławiak; in the 1990s and in previous seasons he was played by Piotr Fronczewski). We finally get to know him fully – we will learn how he got to the place he is in, what relationships he has with other characters, and finally – how he influenced the lives of certain characters.
And according to the slogan promoting the series – everyone they pay for actions committed in the past or try their best to make amends for them.
Not all situations are, shall we say, clean. Some heroes will gain peace, relatively happy ending, others will be left with questions about past events or learn a truth that may bring them more pain. There are also weaker elements (the plot of Zarzycki himself, although other elements of his story work well), but they are made up for by other characters, the well-built, dense atmosphere of the series, and the daring acting, among others. Pławiak.
Kudos also go to the set designers reflecting the spirit of the era and attention to detail at the turn of 1999/2000which should not be surprising – v “Rojście ’97” as well as “Big Water” In this respect, the team could not be faulted, either catching various tidbits from that period only adds to the fun.
Like all parts, the third one is filled with great dialogues and verbal humor. The main thing here is the verbal battles with Mika, who is probably one of the best characters in this series, and Łukasz Simlat, as usual, does not disappoint. Besides, the duo of Jass and Mika is an excellent duo. I will miss them. Just like in Wanycz.
“Rojst: Millennium” is a worthy ending to the trilogy that will not only bring satisfaction to fans of the series, but will intrigue new viewers. However, it will be best if you refresh yourself with the previous seasons before watching the show – a marathon with “Rojst” is highly recommended, because only then everything fits into one beautiful whole.
