Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden they sold more records, they dressed an entire generation in flannel shirts, but the entire grunge phenomenon would not have happened if it weren’t for Mudhoney. The band was the first success in the cult label’s catalog Sub Pop and laid the foundation for an entire movement that made Seattle, Washington, the rock capital of the world in the 1990s, the announcement reads.
Their achievements so far include 11 studio albums and their debut EP “Superfuzz Bigmuff” (1988). In April 2023, in their 35th year of activity, the band released the album “Plastic Eternity”.
As part of its promotion, the Americans will perform at the only concert in Poland, which will take place on September 20 at Proxima in Warsaw.

Mudhoney create Mark Arm (vocals, guitar), Steve Turner (guitar), Dan Peters (drums) i Guy Maddison (bass), who replaced the original bassist in 2001 Matt Lukin. Arm and Turner previously co-wrote Green Riverwhich also included musicians who later appeared in, among others, Pearl Jam, Mother Love Bone and Temple Of The Dog.
