Enrique Iglesias delivered sad news. It's really over

New album Enrique Iglesias “Final (Vol. 2)” appeared on March 29, but even before its premiere it began to dominate the American charts. The latest (according to the announcements) album, in which the Latin star mixes his favorite genres – pop, cumbia, bachata, ska and country – has already gathered millions of plays on digital platforms.

“Así Es La Vida” remains number 1 on the 'Tropical' chart for the eighth week in a row, also topped the charts in Argentina and Mexico, and since its premiere has remained one of the most streamed songs in Spain. Meanwhile, according to Mediabase, “Fría” ranks 5th on the Latin music charts, and “Space In My Heart” entered the Hot AC Top 25.

The artist's collaborators included: Miranda Lambert, Maria Becerra, Yotuel, Belinda and El Alpha.

Let us recall that in 2021, Iglesias, now 48, said for the first time that he wanted to quit recording albums. However, he immediately told fans that he “will never stop making songs because he loves doing it.” However, the songs do not necessarily have to be combined into an album.

“I have been working on this album for quite a few years. As I once mentioned, it will be my last album. I don't think I will ever record another album,” said the artist himself in an interview with “Today” magazine at the end of last year.
