Between Nice and Cannes, The amfAR Cinema Against AIDS charity gala was organized for the 21st time in Antibes – “cinema against AIDS”. The auctions held during the event support the activities of the American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR).
At this year's gala Many famous artists took partincluding: Justin Bieber, Andrea Bocelli, Adrien Brody, Carole Bouquet, Jane Campion, Sofia Coppola, Marion Cotillard, Willem Dafoe, Rosario Dawson, Catherine Deneuve, Luke Evans, Jane Fonda, Lewis Hamilton, Rosie Huntington- Whiteley, Lara Stone, Chris Tucker.
The star of the evening this year was Cherwhile Demi Moore dealt with on-stage announcements.
During Cher's pre-speech announcement, actress she couldn't help but praise her a lot. She called her a style icon and one of the most talented artists of all time.
Demi Moore also did not forget to mention it in her compliments numerous awards won by the artist, including a Grammy, an Emmy and an Oscar. When, during her speech, she heard the voice of someone from the audience, she stopped speaking for a moment and said to an unspecified person from the audience:
“Are you an Emmy winner, you over there in the back of the room? Fuck, I don't think so.”
The comment stayed taken with a pinch of salt and caused laughter. However, it is not known exactly who caused Moore's upset. Fortunately, the rest of the speech went without any major problems.
