Charlie Cox first appeared as Matt Murdock in the series “Daredevil”, which premiered at Netflix in 2015. The series about a blind lawyer had three seasons and after finishing there were rumors that it could be continued on the Disney+platform. A few years later, after taking over the rights of the character, Work on the new installment of the lawyer’s adventures has begun.
There is already talk of another announcement of the series, in which Matt Murdock is fighting his demonsand even about the return of Defenders (a series in which Matt will join strength with such characters as Jessica Jones, Luke Cage or Danny Rand). The first reviews of the two episodes of the series “Daredevil: Rebirth” have received very positive reviews, and the pilot “Daredevil: Rebirth” is to be the best that the television Marvel realized.
As for viewership, “Daredevil: Rebirth” is the best premiere of the Disney+platform this year, but the result itself does not stick to the chair. The new production was followed by such series as “Loki” (the second season in 2023 gathered over 10 million viewers in three days), “It’s always Agatha” (the first series recorded 9.3 million in seven days). Better results also had such productions as “Akolith” (11.1 million in five days, and let us remind you that the series was deleted after the broadcast of the first season) and “Percy Jackson and Olympic gods”.
This year’s premieres were such titles as “Goose Skórka” or “Paradise” (the series with Sterling K. Brown enjoyed considerable popularity). Against the background of these productions, “Daredevil: Rebirth” recorded 7.5 million views within five days of his debut.
