50 years on stage and he gets the minimum wage
Błażejczyk has been professionally active for over half a century. She has collaborated with the most outstanding artists of the Polish stage, such as Wojciech Młynarski, the Pod Egidą cabaret or Maryla Rodowicz. Despite such a rich legacy, her pension does not commensurate with her artistic achievements.
Despite her small pension, the artist emphasizes that she has no complaints about life. “The pension is funny, because at the moment I get the minimum wage, but I have the strength and I work” – she confessed.
The artist, who has been professionally active for years, has no intention of giving up work as long as her health and energy allow her to do so. “As long as I can, I will work on my pension, and if not, I will manage to live on this modest one,” she added optimistically.
The singer emphasizes that she derives great joy from performing in front of the audience, who still sing along to her greatest hits. “It’s valuable to me and I’m incredibly happy that I can count on positive reactions from my fans. It gives me energy and desire to continue” – she emphasized in the conversation.
