For the grand finale of the series “Stranger Things” awaits millions of fans around the world. The upcoming fifth season will be the culmination of one of Netflix’s biggest hits of all time. The creators have long been stoking viewers’ curiosity by telling about the details of the final episodes.
“It’s a big cinematic spectacle, which – as it happens – is called a series. Season five of ‘Stranger Things’ will be as big as the biggest movies,” the producer assured Shawn Levy.
In the new episodes, the permanent crew will be joined by Nell Fisher, Jake Connelly and Alex Breaux. The newest season will likely air in 2025, but the official release date has not yet been confirmed.
It turns out that we won’t see one of the characters in the upcoming episodes. On the Monday Morning Critic podcast Catherine Curtinwho we had the opportunity to see as Dustin’s mother, Claudia Henderson, confessed that her character will not appear in the final season. She emphasized that she made this decision herself in order to devote herself to the role in the film “Saturday Night”. At the same time, she revealed interesting facts from the set.
“(…) I’m not taking part in the fifth season of ‘Stranger Things’, but I’ve been in touch with a few people and what I’ve been told sounds amazing. They really work hard there and it’s brilliant. I think they won’t disappoint,” said the actress.
Catherine Curtin has starred in Stranger Things since the second season. Her character has appeared in eleven episodes.
