Biographical films will be made about each of The Beatles’ musicians

Paul McCartney, John Lennon, GeorgeHarrison and Ringo Starr will be the heroes of four biographical films. Their author Sam Mendeswon an Oscar for directing “American Beauty”will present the story of the legendary British group until its disbandment in 1970.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to tell the story of the greatest musical band of all time,” said Sam Mendes, quoted by Deadline, which was the first to report the news about the films being made.

Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and the families of the deceased John Lennon and George Harrison provided the creators of the image with the rights to the history of the artists and the music they created.

The production is being produced for Sony Pictures studio. According to the announcement, the distribution method will be innovative and groundbreaking. It is already known that all four films will hit cinemas in 2027. Further plans for the studio are expected to be revealed later.

“We are planning an exceptionally exciting and epic cinematic experience told from four perspectives that tell the same story of the all-time group,” explains producer Pippa Harris.

This will be the first such production with the full support of The Beatles.

“Theatrical releases these days must be a cultural seismic shift. Sam’s Bold Idea is just that and more. Audiences around the world will be moved by the combination of exceptional filmmakers, music and the stories of four young men who changed the world,” adds the president of Sony’s Motion Picture Group, Tom Rothman.
