There’s nothing like family support! Blake Lively’s brother-in-law has come to the actress’s defense after she faced controversy following the premiere of “It Ends With Us”. He expressed his opinion under one of the comments on Instagram.
Bart Johnson’s chosen one is his older sister Blake Lively. He recently decided to speak out in the Instagram comments, which have been full of accusations directed at Ryan Reynolds’ wife for some time now.
Lively’s birthday post was peppered with unflattering comments. One of them read:
“Shame she cares so much about promoting happiness in the domestic violence community, regardless of the victims. Disappointing, Blake.”
Johnson commented on the post, although his message has since been deleted. Fortunately, nothing is lost on the internet.
“I’m truly sorry you feel that way. I’m sure you have a big heart and want what’s best. I assure you the truth has yet to come out. Blake worked harder on this film than she’s ever done in her entire life. Because it meant so much to her. The message is in the book. And the film. Not the short clips/interviews. She is the reason the message/film/is coming out. Were mistakes made? Yes. I make mistakes in life. But they’re not under a microscope. Either way, I respect your views. I have nothing but love for you,” Johnson wrote in his comment.
Blake Lively not only plays the lead character in the drama, but she is also a producer on the film. Since the film’s release, the actress has faced criticism for not being sufficiently involved in explaining the sensitive elements of the production.
The film “It Ends With Us” directed by Justin Baldoni is an adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel of the same title. It tells the story of Lily, who becomes involved with an abusive man, Ryle. Despite giving him chances, the man becomes more and more aggressive. Will she be able to break free from the toxic relationship?
