At the heart of this drama is the decision to leave the newborn in the care of the monastery, which opens up new opportunities for the heroines a new chapter in the guesthouse at Akacjowa 38. This story, full of the beauty and intricacy of the era, quickly gained recognition among Polish audiences, offering insight into the lives of the heroines in hiding.
Casilda sees Dr. Malia in a press photo, accused of a number of frauds. He informs Don Maximilian about this, and together with Martin, they succeed save Rosina from his influence. Mauro, despite his strong interest in Teresa, encounters obstacles in the form of his duties, which prevent him from establishing a relationship. Meanwhile, Cayetana plots ruthless revenge.
Mauro experiences degradation and is assigned to patrol the streets as an ordinary officer. He explains to Humildad his obligations that prevent him from establishing a closer relationship with Teresa. Susana, threatening to get fired, persuades Martin to share information about Rosina. In turn, Lolita and Guadalupe decide to talk to the journalist Quiroga, agreeing to the interview.

Susana expresses her suspicions that Trini may have been involved in the unfortunate event that happened to Lourdes. Victor locates Maria Luisa, who, after hearing her mother’s confession, took refuge in the porter’s lodge. Leonor intends to convince the journalist Quiroga to publish a correction.
There is confusion on Akacjowa Street caused by an article in the “Pogres” newspaper, where the author of the article identifies characters from Leonor’s novel “Służyć i ciczeć” with real people. Despite Leonor’s requests, the editorial office refuses to issue a correction that would confirm that the characters in the book are made up. This causes outrage among the residents, and the service decides to take joint responsibility for the situation. Trini offers comfort to Ramon in these difficult moments, and together with Victor, they decide to remain silent towards Maria Luisa about her dying mother’s faults.
