In recent months, Polish Television has undergone significant changes. The existing faces of the station disappeared from viewers’ screens, and their places were taken by new, and sometimes long-unseen hosts.
A new program will appear in the spring schedule “Music for a good evening” – a similar series of concerts under the same name was shown by TVP in 2020.
A series of monographic performances will appear on TVP from March 8 – it will be broadcast on Fridays at 20.50 on TVP2. A new entertainment program was planned for this band “Funnies”, which was to present hits from pre-war cabarets, films and radio. The new management of TVP abandoned this project.
The first star will be Kayahand the episode will be named “Kayah good evening”.
“The audience will hear the artist’s greatest hits, with her very personal commentary. The concert will also be an opportunity for Kayah to meet her audience and fans present in the audience. We will hear songs from various periods of the singer’s musical activity, including hits such as ‘Supermenka’ , ‘It’s hard to love’, ‘Testosterone’, ‘Nothing but you’ or ‘Army in arm’ – we read on the Wirtualnemedia.pl website.
Let us remind you that the singer disappeared from TVP after a commotion during her performance on Festival in Opole in 2017 (she was supposed to be a guest at the 50th anniversary of her presence Maryla Rodowicz on the scene). “As a sign of unity with those who were and still remain censored, because no such storm was caused against them,” Kayah explained her decision to resign at the time. More stars withdrew from performances in Opole, which led to the event being moved from June to September.
Bands are to appear in subsequent episodes of the “Music for Good Evening” program Lady Pank, Feel, Varius Manx, IRA, Kombii and Ewa Farna, Anna Wyszkoni, Kasia Kowalska and Małgorzata Ostrowska. She is the author of the script and director of the series Beata Szymańska-Masny.
Let us remind you that there are unconfirmed rumors that Kayah is to return to TVP also as a trainer. “The Voice of Poland”. The singer sat on the jury in the first edition in 2011.
