Marcin Barański was a child actor who made his debut on the big screen in 1985 with the role of Pietrek in the second part of “Mr. Kleks’ Academy”. In his adult life, he did not pursue acting, but computer science. He also developed his interest in fencing.
The sad news about his death was provided by the Akademia Broni fencing club from Warsaw, to which Barański belonged. The post accompanying the farewell video included heartbreaking words.
“You were a Wonderful Man, always smiling and radiating good Energy. It was great to have you in our lives. Thank you for our moments together, not only on the fencing board. You were a great friend and a unique spiritual guide. It’s sad to say goodbye so soon, but oh well… .apparently that was the plan. That’s probably what you’d say.”
Barański was interested not only in fencing. Faith was an important element of life for him. He was vice-chairman of the Diamond Way Buddhist Association of the Karma Kagyu Lineage in Poland. As he himself said, Buddhism helped him look at the world more broadly and develop wisdom and compassion.
