Will “Top Gun: Maverick 2” be made? She revealed what happened to the third part of the cult series

In January, Variety confirmed that Paramount Pictures had started work on the third part of the series “Top Gun”. A co-screenwriter was hired to write the film's script “Top Gun: Maverick”Ehren Kruger.

The decision about the third part was obvious. The second installment of the series earned nearly one and a half billion dollars in cinemas around the world and became the second highest-grossing film of 2022. “We had a great time shooting this film. It was great fun,” added the actress.

Connely also revealed to the portal that although she has not yet seen the script of “Top Gun: Maverick 2”, she has talked about it with Joseph Kosinski.

“I'm his biggest fan. I think he's great,” Connelly told Entertainment Tonight. – “(I talked to him) about this possibility, but I don't know anything specific.”

Let us remind you that Tom Cruise is currently filming the eighth part of the “Mission: Impossible” serieswhich was originally intended to be a direct sequel to the film “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – Part One”.
