Zenon Martyniuk co-creates the team Accent, but also leads a successful solo career. Over the decades of his career, he has earned the title of “king of disco polo”. For most of his life he was accompanied by his beloved wife, Danuta Martyniuk.
Recently, the singer released a new song on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of his marriage – “I will always be where you are”. Although the couple is almost inseparable, Martyniuk will soon go on a US tour, and his wife announces that she will not accompany him.
At the end of the year, the artist already gave concerts in North America as part of a tour “Dancing St. Andrew’s Day”. Now, information about a unique series of events on the map of the United States – “Polish Night with the Stars” – has appeared on the Internet. As part of it, in the fall of 2024, the biggest disco polo stars will perform in the country, including: Skolim, Vivat, Valdi, Kaspi & Kroppa or Kordian.
Concerts for the American Polish community will take place in New York, New Jersey, Illinois and Florida. The musicians will also visit Canada. Among the stars was also the king of the genre, Zenek Martyniuk. It is also known that he will be the host of the concert Maciej Smoliński.
Prices for a disco polo festival in the USA may surprise concert fans. A ticket to the concert in New Jersey costs $80, or approximately PLN 320, and those willing to perform in New York will have to pay $150 (approx. PLN 600).
