The titular “Wild” is a hero raised in the mountain wilderness by animals and natives. He can move silently, read clues and detect danger. He wields a knife and an ax perfectly. He has iron principles, although he often does what his instincts tell him. Playing him Tomasz Włosok faced the unique challenge of playing a character who doesn’t use words.
– We tried with director Maciek Kawulski figure out a way for the Wild One to communicate individually with each of his companions. This required a lot of improvisation and searching for tools that I had not used before – emphasizes the actor.

Wild leads the Berry Ganga group of similar outcasts whose fate condemned them to a forest life full of challenges and adventures outside the pale of society. His companions are played by young actors: Sebastian Dela (“Braty”, the series “Go ahead, brother”), Maciej Kosiacki (“Kulej. Two sides of a coin”) i Zofia Jastrzębska (“Vinci 2”, series “Infamia”).
– Our shared experiences led us to this we are like family to each other – says Kosiacki. – We function in a certain symbiosis. We support each other very much, we are loyal to each other, and Dziki is someone who is a kind of bond between us – adds Zofia Jastrzębska.
Maciej, played by, also plays an important role in the film Leszek Lichota (“Quack”, “Wataha”). This a figure who stands on the border of worlds caring for young heroes. – He is some kind of authority with whom they feel safe and who helps them make uncomfortable decisions that are supposed to protect them from certain dangers – says the actor.
And that members of the Berry Gang have a tendency to get into troubletheir fate will intersect with the imperial inquisitor tracking down the thieves of the papal insignia, and the mountains will become a silent witness to the duel of two worlds – nature and civilization, freedom and fanaticism, instinct and power.

The author of the sophisticated cinematography for the film is a regular collaborator of the director Bartek Cierlica. “Dziki” is a combination of a spectacular adventure film, a brutal ballad about revenge and an intimate story about growing up, freedom and loyalty..
