“White Lotus”: Another change in the cast. Charlotte Le Bon has joined the series

According to sources cited by Deadline, the creators of “The White Lotus” decided that the character to be played by Francesca Corney should be slightly older. Hence the decision to thank her for her work and hire Charlotte Le Bon in her place. HBO has not commented on the whole matter yet.

White Lotus” is an anthology series, each season of which tells a different story. They focus on people who spend their holidays in five-star hotels in different parts of the world. In the first season, the series’ heroes visited Hawaii, in the second the action took place in Sicily.

The new version of the series will take place in Thailand. The theme of the upcoming episodes will be “a satirical and funny look at death and Eastern religion and spirituality.” Series creator Mike White revealed that the third season will be “longer, bigger and wilder.” HBO has partnered with the Tourism Authority of Thailand to support the filming and promotion of the latest season.

According to Deadline, the new episodes will once again feature a large, multi-generational cast. There are to be nine main characters and side characters. Character descriptions include: “a patriarch, a corporate executive, an actress, several mothers, a freak and a yoga enthusiast.”

The first names in the cast were announced at the beginning of January. In the third season we will see: Leslie Bibb, Dom Hetrakul, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey and Tayme Thapthimthong. The production, which began filming in February in Thailand near Koh Samui, Phuket and Bangkok, will also feature Natasha Rothwell, known from the first series.

Other stars in the cast of “The White Lotus” include: Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger and the famous “Sex Education” – Aimee Lou Wood.

The cast also included a Serbian actor Milos Biković. However, he lost his job for non-film reasons. This time, a Bulgarian, known from the series “Shadow and Bone”, was cast to play the role of the Russian. Juliana Kostova. The 34-year-old, born in Varna, has also appeared in such productions as “London Has Fallen”, “Ben-Hur”, “Leatherface”, “Eye for an Eye” and “Berlin Station”.
