Halina Kunicka over the years, she has released a total of 12 albums, which have sold over a million copies. Privately, the singer was the wife of a journalist and presenter Lucjan Kydryński. The man died in 2006 as a result of heart problems. The singer appeared on “Dzień Dobry TVN”, where she confessed Dorota Wellmanwhat she does in retirement and what her life looks like on a daily basis: “Sometimes it happens that I wake up in the morning and think to myself: ‘Oh God, why did I wake up again?’ live with joy.”
Halina Kunicka talked about her relationship with her son. She admitted that although she visits her quite often, she does not have the best contact with him: “He is always gone. He, in turn, absorbs the world. Years ago, he traveled around the world, around Africa, around Asia, around various really terribly dangerous places. And Lucjan and I experienced his trips very much. (…) Where does everything come from in him that I don’t have and have never had? And I couldn’t see this world and want this world like he did.”
“He comes to me often when he is in Poland and Warsaw. This conversation is not really going well. (…) I think how is it possible that this is my son, someone closest to me in the world, because now I have no one closer,” she added.
She also mentioned her grandchildren, noting that although she likes them very much, she does not have a close relationship with them: “Cool boys, but it’s not the kind of contact that makes them come to me and that’s my fault. Mine. Basically, I’m a very closed person who doesn’t make contacts easily.”
