“Venom”: New title and release date. We know the details of the third part of the cult series

“The Last Dance” – this is the subtitle of the third part of the “Venom” series. He confirms that this will be the final part of the popular trilogy.

Sony, the company behind the show, also announced a new release date for the production. Instead of November 8, the film will hit theaters on October 25, two weeks earlier. Let us remind you that we were initially supposed to see it in July, but strikes by Hollywood actors and screenwriters prevented us from doing so.

Tom Hardy will return in the main role in “Venom: The Last Dance”. His on-screen partners will be Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Kelly Marcell will be behind the camera. This will be the directorial debut of a famous screenwriter who has made two previous films in the “Venom” series. She was also the author of the scripts for the films: “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Saving Mr. Banks”.

The first part of the “Venom” series, directed by Ruben Fleischer, presented the origins of the hero’s birth. Journalist Eddie Brock lost his career, his life and his relationship with Anne (Michelle Williams). However, thanks to the alien symbiote, he received superpowers. Unpredictable, dark and aggressive, Venom terrified Brock, but also inspired him and tempted him with new possibilities.

In the sequel “Venom 2: Carnage” (2021, dir. Andy Serkis) Eddie accepts his new dual nature and begins to cooperate with Venom. One day, Detective Patrick Mulligan (Stephen Graham) asks Brock to meet serial killer Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson) on death row. The journalist is to help find the bodies of the criminal’s victims. During one of his visits, Cletus mysteriously turns into a red symbiote and escapes from prison. A fight full of spectacular special effects begins between Venom and the cruel Carnage on the streets of San Francisco.

The first part grossed $856 million in theaters and the second $502 million. The trend is therefore downward. So will “Venom: The Last Dance” be a success?
