“We know the special guest of the concert Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators. This will be Mammoth WVH (check!), which he heads Wolfgang Van Halenwho has rock in his blood – he finally had someone to learn from. Will Spodek withstand this massive dose of rock? You have to see for yourself!” – we read in the announcement.
The above-mentioned Wolfgang Van Halen in the studio version under the name Mammoth WVH records all the instruments himself. They currently accompany him in the concert edition Frank Sidoris (guitar), Jon Jourdan (guitar), Ronnie Ficarro (bass) i Garrett Whitlock (drums). Let us add that Frank Sidoris will appear on stage twice, because he is also a member of Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators.
Wolfgang’s project’s achievements so far include two albums. “Dwójka” was released in August 2023. The album was recorded in the legendary studio 5150and its production is the responsibility of Wolfgang and his friend and co-creator Michael “Elvis” Basket.
“I wanted the new album to have elements of what people heard on the debut, but at the same time I wanted to move forward. ‘Another Celebration At The End Of The World’ is a track that shows what people can expect from the new album. It’s a piece of energetic rock with funny guitar moments. I’ve also been working on myself vocally and it’s a song I’d like to play live,” says Wolfgang about the album.
Let us add that Mammoth WVH will also be one of the special guests at one of the two July concerts Metallica at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw.
Let us remind you that they are hidden under this long banner Slash (guitarist Guns N’ Roses), vocalist Myles Kennedy (known for Altern Bridge and solo career) and Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass, vocals) i Frank Sidoris (guitar, vocals).
The title of the tour comes from the first single promoting the album “4” – “The River Is Rising”. As part of it, the rock band will visit 32 cities in 21 countries.
