Series “Bluey”created in Australia in 2018, quickly became a global phenomenon. It tells the story of an energetic and resourceful dog, Bluey, who, together with her younger sister Bingo and her parents – Chilli and Bandit (Polish: Banji) – turns everyday situations into great adventures. What makes animation stand out is its authenticity and warmth. Bluey shows a child’s world as it really is – full of emotions, fun, but also small challenges that every toddler has to face.
Psychologists have been emphasizing for years that “Bluey” has an extremely positive impact on children. Thanks to realistic relationships and wise dialogues, it teaches children how to deal with emotions, how to talk about what they feel and how to cooperate with others. Many families admit that thanks to Bluey, children are more willing to talk about their feelings and learn empathy – and parents are inspired to play together. The series has won dozens of awards and has become one of the most frequently recommended programs by child development specialists.
In 2020, the theatrical version premiered in Brisbane “Bluey – Big Fun”prepared by animation creator Joe Brumm and composer Joff Bush. The show quickly repeated the series’ success, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for best family show. Over 500 performances in 65 cities and thousands of children in the audience – it speaks for itself!
Now this unique story will also come to Poland. On stage we will see beloved characters, beautiful scenery and original voices of actors known from Polish dubbing.
In November, the show will visit seven Polish cities – this is the only opportunity to see it in our country.
