“The Paper” action is to take place in the universe of the American “office”. The documentary team, which accompanied employees from a paper company in Scranton, is looking for a new, interesting story. Then they discover the historic newspaper from the “Middle West” and the publisher who tries to revive it with the help of volunteers reporters.
In the cast we will see such stars as Domhnall Gleeson, Sabrina ImpacciatoreMelvin Gregg, Chelsea Frei, Ramona Young, GBemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelmand, Tim Key and Eric Rahill. Duane Shepard Sr., Allan Havey, Nate Jackson, Mo Welch, Nancy Lenehan, Molly Ephraim and Tracy Letts will play episodic roles. At the moment, it is not yet known in which heroes they will play.
Michael Koman and Greg Daniels, who collaborated on the American version of “The Office”, is working on the new project. Together with the creators of the original British edition, Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, both will also act as executive producers.
Oscar Nuñezwho played the Oscar Martinez accountant in the American version of “The Office”, will again play his character in the Peacock series. Details about how this hero will fit into the new series are currently kept secret.
