Felicjan Andrzejczak He became known to a wider audience in 1977. He was then awarded Festival of Soviet Songs. It’s only been two years since he appeared at a concert Premieres during the festival in Opole. He performed the song “Platform of Tears”thanks to which he received distinction.

His passing was first reported by a colleague from the industry – Krzysztof Cugowski. He said goodbye to his friend via social media and expressed his condolences to his loved ones.

Felicjan Andrzejczak earned the title of a cult vocalist not only with the memorable “Jolka”. His very first performance on the prestigious stage in Opole brought a great hit “Peron żal”. This song was the beginning of the artist’s career and it all started with it.

In 1982 Felicjan Andrzejczak joined Budka Suflerawhere he replaced Krzysztof Cugowski. The first song he managed to record with the band was “Jolka, Jolka, do you remember?”. The composition was released on a compilation album “1974-1984” and it quickly became a nationwide hit. The song’s success was evident in the fact that it spent several weeks at number one The Hit List of the Third Programme of Polish Radio.

Felicjan Andrzejczak performed as a vocalist for Budka Suflera for less than a year, but after leaving he continued to appear at the band’s concerts as a special guest. In 1999 he recorded one more song with the band – “Fifth gear”.

In 2020, a unique album was released, on which Andrzejczak once again joined forces with Budka Suflera. After almost forty years, they recorded songs together for the album “10 Years of Solitude”which featured hits such as “There is no going back”, “I like watching you sleep” or the title “10 Years of Solitude”.

In the mid-1980s, Felicjan Andrzejczak began to develop his solo career. He had the opportunity to perform several times at the Polish Song Festival in Opole. He released his own albums, including “Love the world” Whether “Time of Tide”. They included hits such as “Wings Down”, “Carry Me the Wind”, “Time of Tide, Time of Tide” Whether “Hell of Mean Girls”.

“Night of the Comet”, “Always the Same” Whether “The Third Act” are Andrzejczak’s solo pieces that definitely deserve attention. With them, the artist has enriched his many years of achievements and made his influence on Polish culture invaluable.

Felicjan Andrzejczak, both with Budka Suflera and solo, created works that are extremely important for Polish culture. He has gone down in history as a versatile artist whose voice and charisma will be remembered by fans for many years to come.
