A trailer for new products has been sent to the network Matthew McConaughey in the lead role. “The Lost Bus” Certainly he will keep the audience in suspense from the first to the last minute, primarily thanks to the director, who previously created several highly rated catastrophic films.
The “The Lost Bus” action takes place in November 2018, during one of the most tragic fires in the history of California. The disaster consumed 86 fatalities and consumed over 150,000 acres of land. The main character is Kevin McCay (played by Matthew McConaughey), a driver of a school bus who faces a dramatic challenge: he must save 23 children and a teacher from the hazardous zone of the danger zone.
The film was inspired by the real events described in the book “Paradise: One Town’s Struggle to Survive An American Wildfire” by Lizzie Johnson. Paul Greengrass (“Lot 93”, “July 22”), known for his realistic style and suspenseful pace, is responsible for directing. Next to McConaughey on the screen we will see, among others America Ferrera, Yula Vázquez, Ashlie Atkinson and Spencer Watson.
The first trailer has already appeared on the web. We see in him McConaughey responding to a dramatic call on the radio. His character decides on a desperate step to save people trapped in the middle of hell.
The premiere of “The Lost Bus” is scheduled for autumn 2025. The film will be available on selected cinema shows, and then on the Apple TV+platform.
