“The Lincoln Lawyer” is a series adaptation of a series of novels by Michael Connelly, whose main character is Mickey Haller. His story has already been adapted to the screen once – in 2011, a feature-length film starring Matthew McConaughey debuted. Eleven years later, we can see Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as a charming lawyer.
On October 17, the third season of the series about the hero’s fate will debut on Netflix. A trailer for the latest episodes has been released on the platform’s social media, and it looks like the lawyer is facing new, intriguing… troubles.
The latest episodes will be based on the themes of Michael Connelly’s fifth novel about Haller, titled “The Gods of Guilt”.
However, fans are in for a few surprises – the creators decided to start the new season with a retrospective that is not included in the book. As reported by Deadline, in this scene we will see the fate of young Haller and Maggie (Neve Campbell). We will also learn how Mickey Haller became the Haller we know from the TV series and novel series.
