The Flower Kings from Sweden – craftsmanship and creativity
The leading group of The Flower Kings, which has been operating since 1994, is the guitarist and vocalist Roine Stolt. The band is known for its extensive compositions, melodic sounds and long instrumental fragments. The music of the Swedes draws inspiration from classic progrock bands such as Yes and Genesis. Among their significant albums are most often mentioned “Stardust We Are” and “Space Revolver”.
“The Flower Kings often explore the topics of spirituality, nature and human experience in their work. Over the years, the team has gained recognition in the progressive rock environment thanks to their musical craftsmanship and creativity” – we read.
The current studies of the formation closes “Look at you know” (2023), but the musicians are already preparing a new album, whose fragments will probably present in Wrocław.
At the side of the leader there are: Hasse Fröberg (vocals, guitars), brother Roine Michael Stolt (bass), Lalle Larsson (keyboards) i Mirko Demaio (drums).
Neal Morse at the instigation of his wife
Nearly 65 years old Neal Morse He is an American musician, vocalist and multi -instrumentalist, known mainly for its activities in the progressive and Christian rock. In the 1990s he founded a team Spock’s Beard.
In 2002, after a deep spiritual transformation, he left the band to focus on a solo career and creating music with a Christian message. Morse has released many solo albums and collaborated with other artists, including in supergruns Transatlantic and Flying Colors.
When in 2024 Neal had a bit of free time (which in his case seems unbelievable) decided to establish a new formation consisting of young musicians with whom he collaborated in Tennessee, where he lives. As a result of this collaboration, their joint album appeared in November – “No Hill for A Climber”.
The musician accompanies Johnny Bisaha (vocal), Chris Riley (keyboards, guitars, bass, vocals), Andre Madatian (guitars, orchestrations) and Philip Martin (drums).
