The Grand Tour’s Final Episode: A Touching Farewell to the Legendary Trio

The latest teaser for the last episode of “The Grand Tour” with the irreplaceable trio of hosts has just hit the web. Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond are true legends of motoring programs, and their adventure together lasted over 20 years. Now it’s time to say goodbye.

Prime Video presented the trailer for the latest and final episode of “The Grand Tour”, which was titled “One For The Road”. The announcement is truly moving, and the emotions are heightened by the inscription: “After 22 years, the end has finally come”. The last destination of the presenters’ trip will be Zimbabwe. The premiere of the episode has been announced for September 13, 2024.

Clarkson, May and Hammond were associated with the program “The Grand Tour” for 8 years. Thanks to the Amazon production, we could see extraordinary adventures from Colombia, South Africa and Morocco. In 2022, the program’s crew visited Poland, including Gdansk and Krakow.

The end of the show has been rumored for some time, with Jeremy Clarkson himself announcing in the Daily Mail that Season 5 would be the last with the legendary trio. The journalist, with his usual honesty, admitted at the time that it’s hard to film a show like Grand Tour when you’re “fat and old.”

The end of Clarkson, May and Hammond’s collaboration does not mean the end of Amazon’s car show. According to Broadcast, Studio Lambert is interested in the format, which reportedly signed a contract for a show with a changed format and a new cast some time ago. There is no more information at this time.

Fans of British journalists probably remember that similar events took place in connection with the program “Top Gear”, from which Clarkson and the others left 9 years ago. After their departure, the program lost “that something” and viewership dropped significantly. Probably in the coming months it will be known whether a similar fate awaits “The Grand Tour”.
