Grażyna confesses to her son that she doesn’t care much today whether his father is Tomasz (Jakub Sokołowski) and Henry (Zbigniew Suszyński).
“The truth is that you are my son and … I love you very much,” he will say, looking at the boy straight in the eye.
“I won’t let go,” says Wiktor.
“I have to know,” he will add.
After talking to his mother, Wiktor will meet with Tomasz and immediately go to the point. He will begin to explain that until he knows the truth about himself, he will not find peace.
– Why drill it? What will you do to you in old matters? – Kępski will let him understand that he does not feel like pondering the past.
“I want to know if you are my father … or my brother,” Wiktor will make the case clearly.
– You are my son. It would remain so anyway – he will hear.
Junior will remind him that their relationships were not always as they should be.
“I didn’t have a father for years,” he says.
“Only when daddy needed my liver, he appeared,” he mocks, and after a while he will ask him to give in to paternity tests.
Tomasz will tell Wiktor that he does not need any tests, so there is nothing to talk about.
– I can force you. Court – the boy will be determined to get his own.
Wiktor will explain to Tomasz that he cannot live in uncertainty until the end of his days.
– We will do tests, we will find out what the truth is and we will never come back to it again – he promises.
– You know that this can smash our family … – Kępski signs.
– She is already broken anyway. For small pieces – junior whispers.
On the same day Tomasz will meet with Henry.
“Wiktor can be your son,” he will tell him for good morning.
– There is no evidence for this. None – a man gets angry, and when his son tells him that Wiktor wants to do tests, he declares that he should not count on him in this matter.
– Just ridicule. You and … your son. Go away from here, I don’t want to watch you anymore – it will end the discussion.
