The main character of “The Bear” is Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef from the world of fine dining who, after the painful passing of a family member, returns to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich bar, The Original Beef of Chicagoland. Carmy faces a reality so different from what he is used to, and tries to find his way in running a small business, which is not made easier by his innate stubbornness, reluctant kitchen staff and tense family relations.
