“The Bear”: There will be a fourth season of the award-winning series

The information was provided by Deadline, citing numerous sources related to the production. According to them, filming for the fourth season would begin immediately after finishing work on the third series. Work on it has been ongoing since last month.

FX representatives declined to comment. Journalists are wondering whether the fourth season will also be the last. They cite the example of “Atlanta,” another FX series whose third and fourth seasons were also shot back-to-back before production ended. They also indicate that the reception is excellent “The Bear” has ensured that its stars are now being offered roles in movies.

The main character of “The Bear” is Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), a young chef from the world of fine dining who, after the painful passing of a family member, returns to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich bar, The Original Beef of Chicagoland. Carmy faces a reality so different from what he is used to, and tries to find his way in running a small business, which is not made easier by his innate stubbornness, reluctant kitchen staff and tense family relations. And all this happens in the shadow of the loss of his brother.

“The Bear” was excellently received by viewers and critics. The series was awarded ten Emmy Awards (for the first season) and four Golden Globes (for the first and second seasons). Its stars are Jeremy Allen White, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Ayo Edebiri and Abby Elliott.
