Szczecin, turn of winter and spring. The body of a young woman floats to the surface from under the cracking ice. Who was she, why did she die, who did she leave behind? Did those who mourn her today really know her? These questions and the search for answers will be a strong, although initially unconscious, impulse for the main character to confront her own situation: a single mother, playing the role of a perfect policewoman, and, above all, a human being in a moment of crisis.
He plays the main role in the series Katarzyna Wajda. The remaining roles will be played by Bartek Kotschedoff, Juliusz Chrząstowski, Cezary Łukaszewicz, Sebastian Fabijański, Bogusław Linda, Andrzej Grabowski, Małgorzata Gorol, Monika Krzywkowska, Piotr Żurawski, Ewa Skibińska and Marcelina Stepkowska.
“Thaw” is another original HBO EUROPE production made in Poland. It is a crime drama produced by: Bogumił Lipski – producer, Izabela Łopuch – supervising producer, Johnathan Young – supervising producer and Antony Root – supervising producer of HBO Europe. The executive producer is Andrzej Besztak – Magnolia Films. The production has six episodes. The series was mostly shot in Szczecin.
