Sylvester Stallone has named his successor. He should play Rambo

The legendary actor talked about the surprising idea on “The Tonight Show”, admitting that he had once encountered it Ryan Gosling during dinner.

“At first glance, there are no major differences. He is handsome, I am not. Seriously, can you imagine me as Ken? It would have no chance of success,” said Sylvester Stallone.

Even though he doesn’t see himself alongside Barbie, Gosling seems to him to be the perfect Rambo of the 21st century.

“Ryan said, ‘I was obsessed with Rambo, I went to school dressed as him and people would chase me. I couldn’t get over it.'” Stallone revealed that John Rambo has been with Ryan Gosling for many years.

“I thought, this is interesting. If I ever pass the baton, it will be him because he loves the character,” Stallone said.

Gosling already spoke about his love for the character of John Rambo in 2011 during a visit to “The Tonight Show”. He then told host Jay Leno that the movie “Rambo: First Blood” cast such a spell on him that he identified with the main character.

The “Barbie” star also did not hide the fact that the mink coat he wears in Greta Gerwig’s film Ken was inspired by Stallone’s style from the 1980s. “We discovered that Stallone wore mink coats. As long as my Ken wore them , he was a Ken with minks – that made him stand out from the rest of the Kens,” Gosling noted.

After starring in Rambo: First Blood (1982), Stallone returned to his character in two sequels, released in 1985 and 1988. Both sequels were critically panned but were financial successes. After two decades, the hero returned in “John Rambo” from 2008. He closed the series “Rambo: Last Blood” from 2019.
