Alicia is hired at the Stern/Lockhart/Gardner law firm and begins to rebuild her life. Seven seasons of the series were filmed, and Julianna Margulies won two Emmy Awards for her role as Alicia.
“Ally McBeal”, the story of an eccentric lawyer, quickly became a hit and one of the productions that had a huge impact on the genre. David E. Kelley (“The Law Firm” and “The Eagles of Boston”) spotted Calista Flockhart in one of the theater performances and offered her a role in his new production. Their cooperation resulted in the creation of a series that is considered by many to be one of the best in the genre.

The series “Suits”, which was broadcast in 2011-2019 tells the story of employees of a prestigious New York law firm – attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht), who has just become a junior partner, and Michael Ross (Patrick J. Adams), an assistant with a photographic memory, adept at legal matters despite his lack of specialized studies. The series perfectly combined dramatic and comedic elements. The NBC production was extremely popular, and when all seasons were released on Netflix, it gained a second life.
“The Good Case” is a spin-off of the series “The Good Wife”, and its plot revolves around the further fate of Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) and Chicago lawyers. Lockhart is a successful lawyer who works at the prestigious law firm Lockhart & Lee. At work, the woman takes her goddaughter Maia Rindell (Rose Leslie) under her wing. When the girl’s father’s investment company goes bankrupt and many influential people – including Diane – lose their life savings – a huge scandal breaks out.
The series “Boston Eagles”, which focuses on the professional and private lives of highly paid lawyers from a renowned law firm in Boston. The team is led by Alan Shore (James Spader) and Denny Crane (William Shatner), who often win cases in the courtroom without taking into account moral principles.
“The Lincoln Lawyer” is a series adaptation of a series of novels by Michael Connelly, whose main character is Mickey Haller. His story has already been adapted to the screen once – a feature-length film starring Matthew McConaughey debuted in 2011’em in the main role.
A dozen or so years later, we can see Manuel Garcia-Rulfo as a charming lawyer. Netflix’s “The Lincoln Lawyer” is a prime example of a solid, classic legal series. And thanks to Rulfo’s charisma and a great supporting cast, they stand out compared to similar productions.
The action of “Better Call Saul” takes place several years before the events presented in “Breaking Bad”. This is the transformation story of a conman with a heart of gold, Jimmy’McGill’s ego into shrewd lawyer Saul Goodman. The main character is played by the above-mentioned Bob Odenkirk. He is accompanied on screen by, among others, Rhea Seehorn, Michael Mando and Patrick Fabian and Jonathan Banks known from “Breaking Bad”. The series is considered one of the best in recent years.
The plot of the series “Presumed Innocent” focused on a successful prosecutor, Rusty Sabich, who is accused of murder. The case quickly becomes media news, which turns his life into a nightmare. Desperate, Sabich tries to regain his lost happy life at all costs. During exhausting, long interrogations and court hearings, Rusty fights to prove his innocence. The series has been renewed for a second season.
Series “Presumed Innocent is an adaptation of the book by Scott Turow. It has already been adapted to screens twice. In 1990 it was released in cinemas movie Alan J. Pakula With Harrison Ford in the main role. In turn, Bill Pullman played in the 2011 television production.
