Fall of 1987. The opening gates make all of Hawkins tremble with fear. Our heroes now have only one goal – to find and eliminate Vecna. However, he disappeared and no one knows where he is or what he is planning. As if that wasn’t enough, the authorities placed the town under quarantine and surrounded it with troops. The mission is further complicated by the fact that the government wants to catch Eleven at all costs, which forces her to remain hidden. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, a familiar atmosphere of dread grows. You can feel in the air that the time is coming for the final clash with an opponent more powerful and dangerous than all the previous ones. To put an end to this nightmare, the entire team must give their all one last time – we read in the press release.

The Duffer Brothers announce the final season “Stranger Things”which consists of eight episodes, will combine the atmosphere of the first one with the panache of the fourth one. Nine years have passed since its premiere. The series debuted on July 15, 2016 and quickly became one of Netflix’s most important titles.

The first part of the final season of “Stranger Things” will premiere on November 27 (episodes 1-4). The second one – December 26 (episodes 5-7). The final episode of the series will appear on Netflix on January 1, 2026 (episode 8).

The main cast returns in the final season of Stranger Things: Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp. At their side we will again see such actors as: Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton and Joe Keery.

Sadie Sink will also likely return as Max. Although the heroine fell into a coma, the actress could be seen in photos from the set of the fifth season. The new episodes will also feature Maya Hawke, Brett Gelman and, of course, Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna.

Joseph Quinn will certainly not appear as Eddie in the fifth installment. The hero died in the fourth season.

“I love how Joe Quinn teases people. But no, he’s dead. Besides, Joe is so busy right now that it should be obvious to everyone that he won’t be back. He’s made like five movies. When was he supposed to have time to come back to the set of Stranger Things,” Matt Duffer told Empire.

Among the new faces we will see, among others: Linda Hamilton. She will play Dr. Kay, a government agent who follows Eleven’s trail.
