The attack occurred on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 before noon. Buscemi was punched in the face by a strange man while walking. He was taken to hospital with his left eye and face swollen. The police are looking for the person responsible for the attack.
“(Buscemi) is doing well and thanks everyone for their recovery wishes. He is also sorry to everyone who was affected while walking in New York,” we read in the New York Post, which first reported the case.
