The action of the series “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” will take place many years after the events of the Original Trilogy, during the time of the New Republic. The main role is played by Jude Law, who will play the character of Jod Na Nawood. It will be a story about children who get lost in the galaxy and try to find their way back home.
“The show is about working together, overcoming your fears and maybe your own opinion of yourself or your own weaknesses in order to be successful,” Jude Law told PEOPLE.
The creators announce that the atmosphere of the series will be maintained in the style of the adventure film – “Goonies”.
Law’s cast includes Kerry Condon, Ravi Cabot-Conyers, Kyriana Kratter, Robert Timothy Smith and Ryan Kiera Armstrong. The series was created by Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home), and produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian). The script was written by Christopher Ford (Spider-Man: Homecoming). One episode of “Skeleton Crew” was directed by Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert – Oscar winners for the film “Everything, Everywhere, At Once”.
The first photos promoting the series “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” have been published online. When can viewers expect the premiere? In 2022, it was announced for early 2023, but the production has not yet seen the light of day.
Along with the release of the photos, the final release date was revealed. “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” will be released on Disney+ on December 3.
