The actor approaches the topic with great seriousness and does not throw words to the wind. He has already taken his first steps in the implementation of his idea and stated that he was after meeting with Disney representatives.
“I presented the idea to Disney. I told them: ‘Why not create Star Wars with the age category R, for adults?’ It would rather be a Trojan horse for deeper emotions. I always wonder why studies do not want to take a chance and go in this direction, “Mendelson said in the podcast.
Reynolds also emphasized that he did not see in this idea a place for his acting performance. More important for him would be to work behind the scenes:
