Album “Eon Of Obscenity” recorded in the studio Southwing Audio in Houston under supervision Ben Gott. Stabbing before the premiere of “Eon Of Obscenity”. What do we already know about the Americans’ new longplay?

“The new album shows the potential of our band. It is more refined, but without production exaggeration. We didn’t tinker too much with effects or sound editing. We wanted to maintain the rawness of the sound that classic bands had. And that’s what we wanted to achieve, something very sincere. On the other hand, it is a material that marks a new stage – improvement of the sound of Stabbing and our musical workshop, including my vocals,” says Stabbing, standing at the microphone. BridgetLynchwhose aberrantly brutal voice has already left many seasoned connoisseurs of the genre stunned.
The successor to the debut album “Extirpated Mortal Process” A single will be released at the end of 2022 “Inhuman Torture Chamber”.

“Eon Of Obscenity” is also an undoubted publishing promotion for Stabbing, as it will be the debut of Americans in the colors of the German Century Media Records – one of the most important metal labels not only on the Old Continent. The second LP of the Texas band will go on sale on January 30, 2026. The material will be available on CD, digitally and on vinyl in two color variants.
Stabbing – who is the rising star of extreme music?
From the very beginning, the pillars of Stabbing, founded in 2021, have been the singer BridgetLynch and a guitarist Marvin Ruizmember of several other local Houston bands, and also a musician for over two years Devourmenta leading representative of slam/death metal from Dallas, active for three decades. It all started with the desire to follow musical idols.
“We wanted to imitate the style of bands we liked very much and simply enjoy it and have fun. I’m especially thinking about old-school from the 1990s and brutal death metal bands from the early 2000s. Disgorge, Deeds Of Flesh“this type of playing” – Bridget Lynch remembers the beginnings of Stabbing.
“When I was in high school and starting to get into brutal death metal, I discovered a (Scottish) band Cerebral Borewhich had a singer (Simone Pluijmers from the Netherlands). I wanted to be like her, imitate her. It was very inspiring. So I hope that when people, especially young girls, hear Stabbing for the first time, we have a similar impact on them,” says the American singer.
After releasing a demo and EP in 2021 “Ravenous Psychotic Onslaught”as well as the release of their acclaimed debut album at the end of the following year “Extirpated Mortal Process” (under the North Carolina-based Comatose Music banner), Stabbing came to the attention of Century Media Records. Stabbing’s participation in the American tour also influenced the signing of a contract with a renowned German label (“Ancient Unholy Uprising Tour 2023”) alongside death metal legends from the US: Incantation and Suffication. Since then, the ratings of the current players of the Dortmund label have been constantly growing.
“Even though today we are dealing with a new wave of slam and brutal death metal bands, I never thought that people would consider us an important representative of this or that scene. We often meet young bands who tell us that our first demo was a huge source of inspiration for them, which simply blows us away. I never would have imagined that my brutal death metal band would have such an impact,” added Lynch, who even played live for a moment in 2023 the vocalist of Suffocation itself.
The question remains how the Texas quartet defines its approach to the genre called brutal death metal, or the so-called modern death metal, resulting from the combination of brutality with technical proficiency.
“It’s just something even more extreme. In other words, everything that is extreme in death metal is here, but pushed a step further. Vocals. Drums. Riffs. Even greater speed and further crossing of boundaries” – the spiritus movens of Stabbing specifies Bridget Lynch.
