Sophie Thatcher showed interest in art from an early age – she sang in a church choir, and her mother played the piano. She grew up in a musical family, having siblings: brother Alexander, older sister Emma and twin sister Ellie. Although she initially focused on singing, it was acting that became her greatest passion. At the age of four, she began her adventure with the stage, and studying at the school of performative arts directed her towards the theater musical and performances in front of the camera.

Thatcher decided to abandon the faith in which she was brought up. He argues that this experience has made her be more likely to question the world around her and explore various aspects of her art.
