“Snow White” directed by Marc Webb, creator of “500 Days of Love”, “The Gifted” and the “The Amazing Spider-Man” dilogy. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, the duo behind the production of “La La Land”, are responsible for the music for the film. Gal Gadot and Rachel Zegler starred.

The latter was stunned that, as an actress of Latin origin, she was given the opportunity to play the title role in the new version of the iconic Disney story.
“Rachel’s extraordinary vocal abilities are just the beginning of her talents. Her strength, intelligence and optimism will be integral to rediscovering the joy of this classic Disney fairy tale,” said Webb.
On Variety’s “Actors on Actors” show, the actress admitted: “I never in a million years imagined this would be possible for me.”
“You don’t normally see Snow Whites of Latin origin, even though she’s a really important figure in Spanish-speaking countries,” she admitted. “Snow White is an icon,” she added. “But you don’t see people who look like me playing roles like this,” she emphasized.
The choice of Rachel Zegler for the role of Snow White raised objections among some Internet users, but the actress is determined to convince them with her performance. “When it was announced, it trended on Twitter for days because people were all angry,” she admitted.
