Movie “The devil wears Prada” from 2006, directed by David Frankel, was based on the novel of the same title by Lauren Weisberger. The main character, Andrea (Anne Hathaway) is a young girl who gets a job as an assistant to the editor-in-chief of a popular fashion magazine, Miranda (Meryl Streep). She has to meet the difficult requirements of her superior while learning the behind-the-scenes of the world of fashion and media.
Frankel’s film grossed $326 million in theaters worldwide. and Meryl Streep was nominated for an Oscar for her role in it. “The Devil Wears Prada” will forever be remembered in the history of pop culture and contemporary cinema. Even though 20 years will soon have passed since its premiere, thanks to the timelessness of the story, the film is refreshed by older viewers and discovered by younger ones.

The Screen Actors Guild (SAG) awards ceremony took place on the night from Saturday to Sunday. The crew of the film “Oppenheimer” triumphed during the ceremony. Cillian Murphy won best leading actor, Robert Downey Jr – best supporting actor. The entire acting team was also awarded. Lily Gladstone, who starred in Martin Scorsese’s “Bloody Moonlight,” was named best actress in a leading role. Da’Vine Joy Randolph won best supporting actress for her role in Alexander Payne’s “Winter Solstice.”
The organizers have prepared a surprise for the gathered guests and spectators. At one point, the stars of “The Devil Wears Prada” came on stage to announce the winner in the best actor in a comedy series category. First, the audience saw Meryl Streep, who sheepishly confessed that she forgot her glasses and the envelope with the winner’s name.
