It was here that the style icon came and the outstanding actress for the first time played the main role on the big screen – and immediately won the Oscar.
The film directed by Willam Wyler takes us to the charm of Rome, where the young princess Anna sneaks out of the palace to taste the real life. The script for production was written by Dalton Trumbo, Ian Mclellan Hunter and John Dightton. During the 26th Academy Awards ceremony, the film won three Oscars: for costumes, script and the best actress.
