New problems begin to torment Wanycz (Andrzej Seweryn), Zarzycki (Dawid Ogrodnik) and Mika (Łukasz Simlat). The former will try to find out what his old friend wanted to tell him about; the second – to deal with tragedies in his private life and the disappearance of his daughter (Wanda Marzec), in which Jass, struggling with her own demons, will help him (Magdalena Różczka). Fortunately, she will be able to count on her friend’s help – she will once again join forces with Mika, who will try to solve the last criminal case of his career before retiring.
Just like in the second installment of the series – “Rojst ’97” – the action will take place on two time planes. This time – in the 1960s and 1990s, which will allow viewers to learn about the fate of the young Manager (Filip Pławiak) and his path to the top. New characters will also appear in the “past”, and jumping between the past and the present will allow you to better understand the motivations of, among others, Wanycza.
On February 28, the third season of the series “Rojst”, titled “Rojst Millenium”, debuted on Netflix. Vanessa Aleksander plays one of the roles. She creates the character of an archaeologist, Joanna Drewicz, who captures the heart of Piotr Zarzycki (Dawid Ogrodnik). The actress dreamed of working on Jan Holoubek’s project from the beginning. Aleksander failed when she tried to get involved in the first season. In the second one, she had an episode. And in the third and final part, her heroine developed into a supporting character.
“Participating in this project is a dream come true for me. In 2017, I took part in castings for a new production – the first Polish premium series to be released on an online platform. ‘Rojst’, in fact, went online and was a huge success, but I didn’t even get to the second stage of auditions. I experienced it strongly,” recalls Vanessa Aleksander in a post on her Instagram account. “Rojst” debuted on the now defunct streaming platform Showmax. Then it was taken over by Netflix.
“I dreamed of taking part in this project. So when, during the pandemic, I received a request to record a self-tape for the next season, I did not expect success, but ‘tape’ I send. And I won the role. Two years later, when work on the third installment began, it turned out that the scriptwriters had written out my role – from an episodic role it became a supporting one, and I became a permanent member of the cast of this unique project,” the actress rejoices.

While recalling the beginnings of work on the series “Rojst”, Vanessa Aleksander also recalled the ongoing protest by young creators against the lack of royalties from the Internet. The actress joined him, sharing details about the protesters’ demands on her Instagram story.
