“Rojst Millenium”: The grand finale of the dark trilogy. Stars at the premiere of the Netflix series

In the series “Rojst Millennium”which is a continuation of “Rojsta” and “Rojsta’97” and the last part of the trilogy, viewers will finally see the dark secrets solved. What will happen this time? People are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the new millennium. Meanwhile, the skeleton of a woman with a necklace is unearthed in the forest in Gronty, and a murder takes place during a birthday banquet at the “Centrum” hotel. What and who is behind all these events? The story goes back to the 1960s to find the key to the crime mystery.

The most loyal fans of the series and viewers who will begin their journey into the dark world of the author Jan Holoubek and Kasper Bajonthey will get another film treat.

On February 19, the media premiere of the series “Rojst Millenium” took place at Kinoteka in Warsaw.which was attended by actors and creators of the trilogy, including: Magdalena Różczka, Andrzej Seweryn, David Gardener, Łukasz Simlat, Filip Pławiak, Agnieszka Żulewska, Marcin Bosak, Vanessa Alexander, Ewelina Starejki, Konrad Eleryk, Wojciech Kalarus, Jan Holoubek and Kasper Bajon.

“I was surprised that my character would appear in the third season, which concludes all previous stories. The ghosts of the past and traumatic experiences speak not only to Nadia, but to all the characters of the trilogy. (…) The phenomenon of ‘Rojst’ is the realization, dynamic plot, well-cast characters and authenticity,” says Agnieszka Żulewska.

Many new characters will also appear in the six-episode “Rojst Millenium”. We will discover the fate of Jassijej, whom they play Janusz Gajos and Tomasz Schuchardt. Equally important in this season is the character of a young hotel manager at the beginning of his hit career, brilliantly played by Filip Pławiak. They will appear in other significant supporting roles Konrad Eleryk, Marianna Gierszewska and Michalina Łabacz.

“Joanna Drewicz, the daughter of Kazimierz Drewicz and sister of the deceased Justyna, appeared in two episodes of the previous season and now returns as an adult woman. ‘Rojst Millenium’ is a fantastic series that can successfully compete with foreign productions. Brilliant cast, great script of a box story and finally, the wonderful director and visionary Jan Holoubek,” admitted Vanessa Aleksander.

The action of the first season of the series “Rojst” took place in the 1980s. Its main characters were two journalists from “Kurier Wieczorny” – Piotr Zarzycki (David Gardener) and Witold Wanycz (Andrzej Seweryn), who undertook to solve the mystery of a mysterious murder and two suicides.

The second season took place in 1997 in Wrocław. Zarzycki and Wanycz, who are returning this season, were joined by Anna Jass (Magdalena Różczka) and Adam Mika (Łukasz Simlat).

In the third season, we go back in time to get to the heart of previous investigations and memories. The guide to the past will be the figure of a young manager of the Centrum hotel, taking the first steps in his successful career (Filip Pławiak). At the threshold of the millennium, old cases will gain new meaning, and well-known heroes will face completely new crimes, criminal stories and unusual clues. They will discover where all the darkness hidden in the forest in Gronty was born and where it is heading.

Viewers will discover the further fate of famous characters: Anna Jass (Magdalena Różczka), Witold Wanycz (Andrzej Seweryn), Adam Mika (Łukasz Simlat), Piotr Zarzycki (Dawid Ogrodnik) and the hotel manager (Piotr Fronczewski), Nadia (Agnieszka Żulewska), and Dzidzia (Michał Pawlik).
