ROD STEWARTwhich will perform today (8 May) in the Tauron Arena in Krakow, he used his free time before the concert for a walk around the city. On the route of his walk was Florian Street – one of the most visited places in Krakow. It was there that his attention was attracted by a hat store led by an 84-year-old Maria Lipkaicon of local craft with over 60 years of trade experience.
The artist not only looked into the store, but also decided to buy a cap, which – as it turned out – perfectly completed his recognizable image. As the owner’s granddaughter revealed in an interview with “Gazeta Krakowska”, Stewart did not lose good humor and during the fitting he joked that it was difficult to find something that suits his “big head”. A commemorative photo with Maria Lipka and her granddaughter was immortalized by the artist’s bodyguard.

Maria Lipka store – a place with soul and history

Mrs. Maria, despite the advanced age, still regularly looks after the interest. Although today he no longer sews hats by hand, he still cares for the quality and classic style, working with trusted craftsmen.
