A series of films about a young wizard for years gathered a huge number of fans around them. On the set of each of the eight films there were hundreds of actors and extras who had the opportunity to feel the magic of Hogwarts for a while. One of them, Samantha Clinch, recently shared her memory that has forever remembered her. However, this is not about magic spells or a meeting with great stars – and an unexpected gesture of one of the actors.
Samantha Clinch had the opportunity to statist in the film “Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire”, where she filled the background in one of the great scenes taking place at Hogwarts. Although her role was episodic, she remembered this time for a long time – all thanks to the unexpected incident in which Michael Gambon, the role of Albus Dumbledore, was involved.
In a short video on Tiktoku, Clinch told about the situation that took place during the recording of one of the scenes. As he recalls, Gambon approached the table at which she was sitting, and with seriousness typical of his character said: “Dementors are coming.”
However, it was not the words that were the biggest surprise, but what happened a moment later.
The statistics jokingly recalls that at this point the actor accidentally spat her in the eye.
“Dumbledore spat my eyes. It was full of saliva everywhere. It is possible that I got it in the eye,” she reported on Tiktoku.
Although the situation may seem awkward, Clinch approached her with a distance and treats her as “the most important event in her career.” He adds that although the stage did not go to the film, she left her unforgettable memories of one of the most popular film series in history.
The recording of Samantha Clinch quickly gained popularity on Tiktoku. The viewers were surprised by her anecdote and they willingly commented on the video.
– “Wow, I did not expect it,” wrote one of the users.
– “This is probably the coolest and strangest story,” someone else added.
– “It was my dream. Children is very jealous,” commented another person.
Some were also curious how the statistics got to the set. Samantha revealed that recruitment on extras took place in theater schools and among the inhabitants of the area. She also suggested that people interested in such an adventure could check offers at talent agencies.
Although almost 20 years have passed since the premiere of “Spell of Fire”, the backstage of the creation of the “Harry Potter” series is still arousing great interest. And the story of Samantha Clinch shows that sometimes even random moments can become the most valuable memory of the set.
