Ralph Kaminski is finishing a certain stage. “Bal at Rafał’s” goes down in history

Ralph Kaminski In recent years, he has become known as one of the greatest chameleons of the Polish music scene. His songs, initially recognizable among alternative pop fans, quickly broke into the mainstream, making the singer from Jasło a nationwide star.

Ralph’s last self-titled album to date “Bal at Rafał’s” was released on August 31, 2022. The album containing 10 original compositions was produced by the artist himself for over a year Ralph & My Best Band In The World with “Bal” they visited the largest Polish festivals, amphitheaters in cities and towns, clubs and cultural centers, playing a total of over 100 concerts.

Concerts, or rather “Bals”, by Ralph Kaminski are an artistic feast. The combination of the artist’s extraordinary personality and a truly outstanding band of instrumentalists, combined with uncomplicated but touching dance routines, means that participants are treated to a unique spectacle. During the concerts, the 33-year-old singer presents the most important moments of his career so far, including: “Morze”, “Kosmiczne Energie”, “Ocean”, and “2009”, as well as songs from the last album: the moving “Ghosts” and “Małeheart” or nostalgic “There are no more wild beaches” from the repertoire Irena Santor.

The ball takes place not only on stage, but the audience can also feel like invited guests – they are often absorbed in the wild fun, and Ralph himself has been encouraging fans for a long time to come prepared as if for a real banquet.

During Sunday’s concert (February 18) in Warsaw, the singer’s fans were speechless during the song “Long live the ball” the one and only appeared on the stage Maryla Rodowicz.

Ralph Kaminski is a singer, songwriter, composer, music producer and music video director. He creates music described as alternative pop. In 2021, he received the prestigious “Polityka” Passport, which is a symbolic stamp of the quality of the artist’s work.

The artist released four albums: “Sea” (2016), “Youth” (2019), “KORA” (2021) and the already mentioned “Bal u Rafała” (2022). All of them achieved Gold Record status. Ralph’s work is warmly received by critics and the music industry, as evidenced by two nominations for the Fryderyk award for “Młodość”, four nominations for “Balu u Rafała” and the Fryderyki 2022 award for “KORA”, which was recognized as the best album in the Poetic and Literary Song category, and Ralph himself received a statuette as Artist of the Year.

Kaminski also received many other prestigious awards and distinctions, including: Artistic Award of the City of Toruń named after Grzegorz Ciechowski and the Grand Prix and Audience Award of the 40th Actor’s Song Review in Wrocław. He cooperated with, among others: with Miuosh, Dawid Podsiadło, Natalia Przybysz, Quebonafide, Daria Zawiałow, Schafter, Natalia Szroeder, as well as with Organek and Kwiat Jabłoni.

In September 2023, Ralph premiered the song “Above Everything, Despite Everything”, which was created on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Anna Dymna’s Despite Everything Foundation. He wrote the lyrics to the song Jacek Cygan, and the foundation’s beneficiaries also took part in the recordings. The song is accompanied by a clip directed by and with Ralph’s participation, featuring: the foundation’s beneficiaries, Anna Dymna and, among others, Magdalena Cielecka, Jann, Joanna Kulig, Magdalena Popławska, Irena Santor, Mery Spolsky, Zbigniew Zamachowski.
