“Presence”: There was no such thing yet. This film sneaks in schemes

Ballicing between a thriller and a psychological drama, with a hint of supernatural horror and a unique narrative, the new film by Steven Soderbergh, like the iconic “Ghost Story”, creates an unusual atmosphere of anxiety and mystery, becoming an equally addictive and masterfully realized story about family secrets, which are increasingly existing through the walls of the house.

“Presence” is a unique film – the whole story is told from a spirit perspective that cannot leave the house. The camera only shows what this invisible presence sees, becoming a silent but ubiquitous witness of family dramas. Thanks to the brilliant photos of the director himself (appearing in this role under the pseudonym Peter Andrews), the film gains a unique atmosphere – claustrophobic, stuffy and intimate – in which the border between the visible and invisible almost disappears.

Starring known from the “Charlie Angels” and the iconic series “Kill Bill” phenomenal Lucy Liu and Julia Fox, whose creation delighted in “unwashed diamonds”.

Soderbergh, a master of narrative precision, serves a tension -full portrait of everyday life disturbed by something that you can’t see – but what every day is becoming more and more real, more tangible. This is a story about what is unspoken, hidden under the surface – in a family, at home, in the human psyche.

After moving to a new home in the suburbs, the family is convinced that he is not alone. Steven Soderbergh returns with a disturbing story about the presence that escapes the senses and the storm of everyday life. This is an intriguing thriller with a secret hidden in four walls that begin to live their own lives.

Film in the distribution of M2 Films, in cinemas from October 31.
