Artur Rawicz is a name that every music lover has heard at least once. For years he fulfilled the role of a music journalist. He was associated with Codzienna Gazeta Muzyczna (CGM.pl), and became famous thanks to numerous interviews with rappers. He has had conversations with peja, TedElephant, KęKę Whether Toe. At some point, he left the editorial office – then his professional and private problems began, which excluded the journalist from the media circulation and contributed to his breakdown.

Artur Rawicz decided to give an extensive interview on the channel Hoodckievitz. The honest conversation was titled “Rawicz’s Confession” and touches on the most difficult moments in a journalist’s life. It turns out that too much free time caused him to start abusing alcohol and other harmful addictive substances. This led to the deterioration of his health – he began to have symptoms of liver cirrhosis.
“I ended up in rehab with my life turned upside down, a disaster, debts, a broken relationship, feeling lost. After leaving rehab, I had to find myself again and settle old issues,” said Artur Rawicz.

The journalist also raised the issue of his financial problems. He admitted that they deepened during the pandemic. He reached a point in his life where he was forced to sell his valuable record collection and even his apartment. “Formally, I am homeless, I have no address,” concluded Rawicz.

Despite many adversities, Artur Rawicz is full of hope for a better tomorrow. He wants to get back to normal, and his former colleagues from CGM are trying to help him. Thanks to them, he managed to return to journalistic work. His recent interview with Thomson – team member Afromental and coach “The Voice of Poland” – is proof that a journalist does not give up.
