On Tuesday, we learned about this year’s nominees for “Polityka’s” Passports. The names of the winners will be announced during a gala on January 14.
In the film category, the following people have a chance to win an award: actress Sandra Drzymalska, known, among others, from the films “White Courage” and “Simona Kossak”, Jakub Rurzałło, screenwriter of comedy series such as “1670” and “The Office PL”, and director of the film “Rzeczy przedsiecy” and the series “Absolutni debutanci” Kamila Tarabura.
A total of 21 artists were nominated in seven categories.
“Polityka” passports are awarded to young creators who “contribute in a special and non-standard way to the promotion of Polish culture in the country and around the world.”
The awards have been presented since 1993 in the following categories: film, theater, visual arts, classical music, popular music, and – since 2016 – in the digital culture category.
