Can you discover the country only during holidays? In no case! , a tourist series of the Lifestyle editorial team of the Interia portal.
In articles published every two weeks, we will show you and introduce you to passionate people and people with extraordinary skills, taste specialties from regional cuisines and check how small, local initiatives can cause big changes.
– Undiscovered, mysterious, surprising. Places and stories hidden between old walls, in the silence of the forests, in the kindness of local residents. By visiting them, we not only expand our knowledge and imagination, but also support local communities that take care of these treasures – says Monika Wanat, head of the Lifestyle sector of the Interia portal.
“Unique Poland” – you won’t read about it in a guide
As part of the “Unusual Poland” campaign, we invite you to discover the less obvious side of our country. . We visit the workshops of traditional craftsmen and collectors’ houses. We check what is happening in community centers, rural women’s groups and local markets. We try traditional specialties (and sometimes we dare to prepare them ourselves under the supervision of professionals).

Poland is extraordinary. What will you read about in the first part of the action?

This initiative, among others, became the inspiration to create a local version in Poznań. Korona Poznania is an unusual tourist project that allows you to look at the city from a completely different perspective. While conquering subsequent hills, participants collect stamps, and the winners of the full crown will receive a unique badge.
