Poland has never had such a performance at Eurovision. This was a general test for Luna

Let us remind you that the representative of Poland – Glow – On May 7, he will fight to advance to the final Eurovision. Her rivals included representatives of, among others: Croatia, Ukraine, Finland, Ireland and Lithuania.

The day before, there was a dress rehearsal for the participants of the first semi-final, followed by a jury rehearsal a little later on the same day.

Even before leaving for Sweden, the artist announced that she “wants to shock Polish viewers.” “I would like to surprise and make the audience shocked when they see this performance that this is what is happening,” she said in an interview with Jastrząb Post.

Glow he starts his performance in a red cape, which he throws off after a while, leaving him in a two-piece white outfit on stage. In addition, other elements during the singer's performance also attract attention: a chessboard, stars, a full moon, two towers, masked dancers and a large red horse.

At one point in the performance, the singer dances with dancers dressed as chess pieces, and ends the whole thing by standing on a red horse.

“It's a stage story about life symbolized by a chessboard. Dancers with covered faces are shadows. It's about the people we meet in life and the places we visit in it – the good ones, but also the bad ones. It's all very good, as evidenced by the fact that in the Bubble Room during the Polish delegation the traffic stopped and everyone was watching the broadcast from the stage and applauding after the performance,” commented the TVP representative Mateusz Szymkowiak.

The last rehearsals before the semi-final were followed by Eurovision journalists. Service eurowizja.org After Luna's dress rehearsal, he wrote as follows:

“Luna probably didn't feel very confident at the beginning of the performance, but the further on, the better she sounds. As for the performance itself – it's impressive. The story is told clearly. (…) We haven't had a performance like this before at Eurovision and I have I have the impression that we won't have it for a long time. After what I saw, I believe that we will see Luna in Saturday's final,” we read.

Eurovision experts expressed equally positive opinions about the Pole after the jury trial. “A performance with an idea that should result in a smooth advancement to the final and reasons to be proud” – we read on eurowizja.org.

We also know a little more about the postcard announcing the performance Luna on Eurovision. It will recall two iconic Eurovision moments of Poland – the performance Edyta Górniak from 1994 and the performance Cleo and Donatana with the hit “My Słowianie” from 2014.

Let us remind you that Luna will play sixth in the first semi-final. A Ukrainian duo will sing in front of her Jerry Heil and Alyona Alyona, and after her, another favorite of the entire competition will perform – the Croatian Baby Lasagna.
